Toshio Yamamoto's photo book contains 130 photographs and was completed after five years and countless postponements. The world of the 500 Arhats is similar to the world of us humans. There is laughter, there is anger, there is sadness, and there is joy. Japanese Arhat carvings are not only found in temples. Sometimes I meet them in the fields.
