In the 1950s of the 20th century, a newlywed couple, Isamu Noguchi and Yoshiko Yamaguchi (Li Xiangran), stayed at Lucian Lu's house in Kamakura for a while. These two artists were close friends, and Lucian Roux's ideas and resources had a very deep influence on Isamu Noguchi's aesthetics. This book contains approximately 160 items produced during these exchanges, including ceramics, furniture, the famous "Akari" design, and Lucian Roux's later works, and it is a collection of works by two people with different backgrounds. It shows how artists influenced each other to inherit and develop their unique art.
