The brand “mina perhonen,” founded by Akira Minagawa, celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2020. Guided by the concept of “special everyday clothing,” the brand has built deep connections with textile regions across Japan, continuing its unique approach to creation. With the keyword “tsuzuku” (meaning “to continue,” evoking ideas of connection, continuity, and circulation), this book richly compiles mina perhonen’s textiles and garments, original artwork and illustrations, scenes from factories and ateliers, and the words of Akira Minagawa himself. It is a special volume encapsulating the 25-year journey of mina perhonen.
