This is an original Hamaichiya design, officially recognized by Kozan-ji Temple in Kyoto, which houses the national treasure "Choju-giga". The humorous and cute design depicts animals such as frogs and rabbits and the lively scene of a fish market. It has been carefully dyed by skilled craftsmen using the traditional Japanese dyeing technique "Chūsen".
