Jews, Muslims, Christians, believers, non-believers, residents, tourists... For thousands of years, people have flocked to Jerusalem, making it the most important crossroads of human civilization. Photographer Michal Ronnen Safdie was born in Jerusalem. Under My Window is a collection of her most profound photographs. From Safdie's windows, you can see Muslim women hanging laundry to dry, soldiers taking the oath to join the Israel Defense Forces, and Muslim men laying out prayer rugs in Jewish neighborhoods. You can also see a smiling Orthodox man giving flowers to a blushing Orthodox woman...but also children, play, conversation, and love.
