This is the classic furniture series catalog launched in 1993 by Italian postmodern design master Alessandro Mendini (1931–2019) for the renowned avant-garde Milan gallery "Design Gallery Milano". Titled "Museum Market", it playfully fuses the concept of museum collections with supermarket shelves, and is regarded as a representative work of 1990s Radical Design and postmodernism. As a core figure of the Alchimia and Memphis groups, Mendini spent his life challenging functionalist design frameworks. This series includes drawer cabinets (such as Nigritella Nigra), vases (such as the Ambra Dolce ceramic series), chairs, and decorative objects — each piece featuring vibrant colors, hand-painted patterns, and heterogeneous material collages — simultaneously satirizing consumer culture while elevating everyday objects to "museum-grade" artistic status, transforming ordinary furniture into collectible "museum commodities".
