A photography book of Beijing taken in 1995–1996 by the photographer Koichi Saito. Saito, who worked as Tadahiko Hayashi's assistant during his university years, deepened his ties with China through a 1965 Japan–China youth exchange, and afterwards continued to visit various parts of China to report and photograph. Through Beijing's streetscapes and people's daily lives, this book conveys the changing face of the city and the memories of the people who lived there.
