This book is the catalogue published to accompany the exhibition "Eleven-faced Kannon of the Lake Country" held at the Seibu Museum of Art in 1982. The exhibition displayed eleven-faced Kannon statues held by more than 60 temples in Shiga Prefecture, including wooden, bronze and stone statues. The photographs were taken by Yasuhiro Ishimoto.
