Exhibition of Rare Tea Ceremony Masterpieces from the Hosokawa Family

The Hosokawa family, as a Sengoku daimyo and tea master lineage, has a collection that gathers favorite items used by tea saints such as Sen no Rikyū, Yūsa, and Sansai. This book records the 1978 traveling exhibition at Nihonbashi Takashimaya and other locations, revealing through 77 selected plates the diverse aspects of tea ceramics from Goryeo tea bowls and Idō tea bowls to Karatsu and Raku ware.
