Katsura Imperial Villa, built between 1620 and 1624, is a palace complex renowned as a masterpiece of Japanese gardens and architecture. A garden associated with Prince Toshihito, it was also highly praised by the German architect Bruno Taut. This book is a large-format photography book recording Katsura after its restoration, presenting the composition and details of its architecture and gardens in photographs.
