Katsura Imperial Villa Everyday Newspaper

Katsura Imperial Villa was built from 1620 to 1624, and its owner at the time was Prince Tomohito, who was famous for the beauty of his garden during the Edo period. It later received praise from German architect Bruno Taut and became a world-famous masterpiece of Japanese gardens. Katsura Imperial Villa was renovated in 1982, and with this renovation its beauty will continue for another 300 years.
