During the war, the indomitable photographer Ken Domon began touring old temples around Japan, and continued to do so even after he was forced to use a wheelchair. This book features 171 of his representative works from 1940 to 1978, as well as some famous essays, and is a collection of his works that have been on tour of old temples with a camera on their back for more than half of their lives.
