A book introducing 16 tea boxes made by five makers: the lacquer artist Akito Akagi, the potters Masanobu Ando and Koichi Uchida, the metalsmith Takejiro Hasegawa and the designer Jurgen Lehl. Each maker's ingenuity appears in the combination of contemporary elements and traditional designs, materials and utensils. A book not only for appreciating the works but also for broadening ideas on how to combine and use tea utensils.
