The catalogue of the exhibition "Eleven-faced Kannon of the Lake Country," held at the Seibu Museum of Art in 1982. Featuring eleven-faced Kannon statues handed down at more than 60 temples in Shiga Prefecture, it introduces wooden, bronze and stone statues. Through the photographs of Yasuhiro Ishimoto, it conveys the forms of the Kannon statues and the appeal of the Buddhist art handed down in the region.
